I see there is no discussion about this category. Why is it here? Are there jurisdictions where wikipedia:personality rights limit the distribution of a person's likeness if there is no slander or libel? --Knulclunk 04:10, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
- Just in case there are still people that have successfully evaded this issue 13 years later: Yes, of course! The link in the question gives the country-by-country details. But as a general rule, you will want the individual's permission if they are not part of a group or persons with some existing relevancy. And even absent an specific legal provisions, privacy and personality rights need to be considered as a matter of basic decency.@Knulclunk: just in case. --Matthias Winkelmann (talk) 02:59, 19 October 2020 (UTC)
